Today many who claim to have faith only seem to have wish. The greatest problem Pastor Ken sees in God’s church today is not resources. We have more resources of communication, information, educated people, and freedoms to do things. The problem is we often treat faith more like a wish which is an apathetic and fearful approach that will produce little work of value. Faith must work! It takes determination, persistence, discipline, and strength to hold on to faith.

Set sail on a great adventure and learn through faith with Jesus Christ. Our Lord never leaves us or forsakes us in the storms of life. We need to trust in Jesus through all seasons of life.

Repent, get honest and know that our partial obedience means nothing. Let us turn from our wicked ways and live by faith. Only when we humble ourselves, we may receive the righteousness of God by faith.

Faith is not passive! Faith is fight! The world, the devil, our own flesh war against us constantly. The fight is to remember to claim victory in faith through this life's battles! Many lose the battle because they are wasting their energy fighting the wrong battle. And then still others lose it because they do not recognize they are in a battle. In Luke 13 we explore how Jesus is teaching us how to win.
