So would you like to have gain? Or great gain? Godliness with contentment will give you great gain in Christ! In seeking gain in the treasures of this world alone you will end up losing. Christian contentment is a rare jewel in the life of the believer. In today's message, we discover the secret of contentment; all of your wants can be fulfilled in the God who provides pleasures forevermore.

Some see gratitude as an attitude, but it is much deeper than that. True gratitude comes as the creature responds in love and faith to his creator who has given him life, provision, and salvation. When we realize God has saved us from wrath, through His love and mercy, by the sacrifice of His son Jesus, our hearts sing in unending praise. His love endures forever!

Paul introduces Timothy and Epaphroditus in Philippians 2:19-30 as examples of ordinary people whose lives were shaped by the grace of Jesus into lives of genuine concern, faithful service, humility, and sacrifice. Rather than asking, "What can I get?" they lived by asking, "How can I serve Christ by serving others?" The message challenges us to allow God's grace to reshape our time, relationships, resources, gifts, and priorities so that our lives increasingly reflect Jesus.

Philippians 2:12–18 challenges believers to live out the salvation God has already given them—not to earn salvation, but as a response to God’s work within them. Paul teaches that because God is actively working in us, our lives should be marked by humble obedience, gratitude rather than grumbling, and a willingness to serve others even when nobody is watching.

In Philippians 2:1–11, Paul challenges believers to allow Christ to transform not only what they do, but how they think, especially in a culture that encourages self-promotion, comparison, status, and personal achievement.
