No event in history has been more studied, scrutinized, and written about than the death and resurrection of Jesus. Today, we are invited by an angel from heaven to come and see – and believe –that the tomb is empty! That He is risen!

In Matthew's account of Jesus' suffering and crucifixion, he described in detail the shame against Jesus' person, and the pain inflicted on Jesus' body. In this message, Pastor John illustrates the many shameful insults hurled at the perfect Son of God and provides a warning of how we might, at some times, insult God even today. But God will forgive your insults against His Son if you repent and "kiss the Son."

Sometimes we are faced with the opportunity to speak for Jesus before strangers, people with problems and needs, people we don’t get along with, enemies, people that want to intimidate us, people of bad character. What do we do? Jesus came into that kind of environment and says, “This is why I have come – to testify to the truth."

When Paul wrote the letter of 1 Timothy, the church at Ephesus was 10 years-old and they were experiencing some growing pains. The solution was not to ignore the problem, but to have healthy leaders armed with a prescription to administer Godly teaching with a Godly example.
