There’s no doubt that we live in a pluralistic culture. Plurality is a fact of our increasingly mobile society, and technology which shortens the time and distance between cultures. What we need to learn is how to respond to the ideology of pluralism – that faith is private, or that different religions are not a matter of truth vs. falsehood, but of different perceptions of the same truth.
